My Birthday Week !!

My birthday passed recently :D I did a lot of fun stuff with my twin.

My actual birthday was kind of a struggle because I got sick and was kinda basically shitting all day ...........Never been so dehydrated in my life. I was supposed to get dinner with my twin but I had to bail. We went the next day though, after I was fully recovered! I don't know if it was food poisoning or what, but it was crazy lol. This sounds crazy to do right after having tummy troubles but I ate a bunch of oysters. Yum!

Actually, the weekend before my birthday, we celebrated with my family. Had a little barbecue in the backyard. One of my baby cousins is all grown up now and told me she's into yaoi LOL. She ships k-pop idols...she's still young so we'll talk about the moral implications of that later... We were fujoing out together though...

Then I went to the beach #JerseyShore

The weekend after my birthday, we celebrated with my friends! I baked a cake :D It was chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and cherries in between layers and on top!

I'll add pictures to this blog post another time!

Dog Days of Summer

I started using new shampoo and conditioner bars today and my hair is soooooooo soft YAY!!!!

The weather has been so weird lately. Super hot and sunny and muggy and rainy all in one day. Crazy moodswings just like me lately. Honestly what even is going on??? I think I need to just stop and let myself be still for just one moment. But every time I do that I end up crying.,,

How is it already July???? My bday is coming up :D I can't wait to celebrate. I'm thinking of baking myself a cake. Not sure what it will look like. Currently scrolling through Pinterest looking for some ideas. The Max and Ruby cakes look super cute but not sure if I want to bake two whole ass cakes! We will see...

The past weekend was soooo freaking sticky ew. But I baked a beautiful cake with my friends! I had a slice for breakfast the next day...

Summer haze thoughts

Guys it's going to be like 90 degrees tomorrow I'm SCARED I'm like a VAMPIRE!!!

But anyway it's ok cuz I went out for a smoke break and I saw the cutest cat in the world (I smoked far away from the cat before approaching). It was such a nice little guy, let me approach pretty close. I reached out my hand but it got a little skittish so I left it alone. I'll never test a cat's boundaries bro.

You can see in this pic the cat looks a little alarmed, so I took the pic and then left! But what a nice little addition to my day!!

My roommates and I are considering getting a cat but we still have to discuss logistics and stuff. I'm thinking we'll probably foster first to see if a little dude is the right fit for our home situation. I hope it works out because I used to have a cat at my old place and I miss him so much :') CAT LOVE!!!!!! :3

When I'm bored at work

I work at a zero waste shop on the weekends and I usually crochet during my shift to pass the time, but I ordered yarn for a new project and it hasn't come in the mail yet so I was trying really hard to occupy myself lol. I didn't even bring a notebook with me because I had to go to a concert afterwards so I packed my bag light. I ended up writing on one of the brown bags we have and just wrote whatever came to mind to pass the time...

Side 1:

What if I wrote a spell on this brown paper bag? A spell begging for life? A spell for making sure your water bottle is always filled, your tears never run dry, your candle is always lit, your gas tank is always full, your dishes always washed (you always come home to an empty sink), your coffee beans never run out, your mouth never runs dry, you can always pick out a movie, you never run out of new places to visit, everywhere always feels like you're seeing it for the first time, you never run out of reasons to go to the grocery store, you always have time to stop and smell the roses, you always have someone to call, you always have a place to go back to (even if it never stays the same), you always have something to say, you always have space to say nothing, you always have space to stretch your legs, you always have somewhere to hide, you never have to hide, etc. What if all that and the life you long for exists in a spell, on this paper bag? My hand is cramping up!

Side 2:

What do you wish for that you can't even tell yourself? What are the things you don't even know you don't know? Who can you turn to when you have nothing to say? What exists in the space between "here" and "now"? Do you know who listens to your prayers before you go to bed? (Every little thought, even the ones you dream about that you don't remember in the morning, are/is prayer.) The Tralfamadorians see everything, everywhere, all at once. They battle interdimensional prayers and never complain about it. What about that seems foreign to you?
